How to opt out
Reply to any message from us and say stop, use the unsubscribe link in the message, or email josh@fcahoops.com from the address you want removed. We act on requests promptly and always within ten business days. Removed addresses go on a permanent suppression list so they are not contacted again. No reason is required and we will not ask you to confirm a second time.
The mail we actually send
We send individual business correspondence to coaches, athletic directors, and program staff about our basketball analytics service. It goes to professional addresses in a work context, at low volume. We do not operate consumer marketing lists and we do not send bulk promotional campaigns.
Where addresses come from
From publicly listed school athletic department pages and program staff directories, and from people who gave us their address directly. We do not buy, rent, sell, or trade lists, and we do not harvest addresses from the open web or from unrelated sources.
What we hold ourselves to
- A real sender name, from address, and reply-to address on every message.
- Subject lines that describe what is actually in the message.
- No forged headers, no misleading routing, and no disguising where a message came from.
- A valid physical mailing address in commercial messages.
- A clear opt-out in every commercial message.
- Compliance with the US CAN-SPAM Act and equivalent rules where they apply.
Reporting abuse
If a message from us looks like it breaks this policy, or if someone appears to be sending mail that impersonates our domain or brand, forward it to josh@fcahoops.com with full headers where possible. Every report is investigated.
